For attendees traveling from outside of the Netherlands, the following information will help you plan your trip.

All individuals who require a visa to attend World Workplace Europe, please apply soon!

To travel to the Netherlands, most non-EU citizens need to apply for a Schengen visa. The application process involves:

  1. Completing an online application form
  2. Submitting required documentation:
    • Valid passport
    • Passport photos
    • Proof of travel itinerary
    • Accommodation bookings
    • Evidence of sufficient financial means
    • Travel insurance coverage
  3. Attending an interview at a Dutch embassy or consulate in your country of residence

Do I need a visa for the Netherlands?

If you are planning to visit the Netherlands from abroad, check whether you need a visa before traveling. This requirement varies based on your nationality and the purpose/length of your stay.

Schengen Visa

If you plan to stay in the Netherlands for up to 90 days, you may need a Schengen visa, which is the most common type of visa for short-term visits.

Letter of Invitation

All international attendees requiring a letter of invitation may email a request to worldworkplaceeurope@ifma.org. Please allow two to three business days to be issued the letter of invitation.
